I loved Legion, funny side note is I really remember the midnight release.
Too bad since Legion, it's been pretty much downhill only whether it was speedy and steep (BetaForAzeroth) or slow, bumpy and steadyish (SL). Also, the class/spec balance was probably at it's best (closest?). If leaving nostalgia and heavy favoritism out of the count then Legion can easily take over WotLK simply with how many great features it had along with lots of Lore stuff tied in with Artifact Weapons and Class Hall quest lines. And of course, one of the biggest reason is/was The Lich King / Arthas. Comment by lovelywaz on T20:31:56-05:00įor me, Legion is 2nd best expansion just a tiny bit behind WotLK being the best. I looted my bis weapons 1 day of the expansion like a proĪnd then proceeded to get Prydas, Sephuz, and Norgannon's for the next month and a half and wonder why you didn't just level another warlock/mage/priest. Was fun to actually get a chance to see what all classes were with maxed artifacts.

Special place in my heart Comment by couchpotato2013 on T19:53:32-05:00 I quit BFA during the first raid and quit Shadowlands during the first raid as well (SL M+ was amazing) but Legion got me hooked until the end. The replayability due to the class halls, artifacts and mage tower was the best content I have seen in WoW. Hands down the best expansion I have ever played to its fullest until the end. Legion was gold, BFA was quit and Shadowlands was okay. Hate that it was followed up by BFA and then Shadowlands.
I don't think DF can repeat it's sucess but I hope in future they will deliver something similar. The advent of Chromie Time allows new characters to level through the Legion expansion and experience it similarly to the way it was intended.
